I. Objectives:
- By the end of the period, pupils can use words and phrases related to the topic
Future plans. Ss can ask and answer questions about what someone would like
to be in the future , using Why would you like to be a/ an? Because I’d like
to……….
- Develop speaking and listening skill.
II. Teaching methods:
- Communicative method.
- Techniques: + Work in pairs and individually
+ Ask and answer.
+ Work in groups, discuss.
III. Teaching aids:
- Teacher’s aids: pictures, word cards, audio, puppets, flashcards.

I. Warm up:
- Have the class to sing a song ‘ What would you like to be
in the future?
- Compliments
II. New Lesson:
* Teach new words:
- look after patients: chăm sóc bệnh nhân
- write stories for children: viết truyện cho thiếu nhi
- design buildings: thiết kế tòa nhà
* Checking VOB: “ What and Where”
1. Look, listen and repeat.
- Have Ss to look at the picture at page 32.
- Have the class to identify the character in these pictures.
- Tell them that they are going to listen to the recording and
repeat the dialogue between Mai, Linda and Tony
- Play the recording all the way through for Ss to listen as
they read the dialogue.
