the words: Mai, Peter well, listen and write the correct words, and say the chant
beatifully.

1. Warm up: How do you spell your name?
2. Listen and repeat
- Use the suboard to present the sounds / m/ , /p/
- T explains how to make the sound.
- Play the Cd ask the SS to listen and repeat

3. Listen and write:

- Tell the SS that they are going to do a dictation by
listening to the Cd and fill in the gap with the

- Give the class few minutes to read the text before
starting the dictation

- Ask the SS to swap their book to check their
answer before checking as a class.

- Get the SS to work in pair and practise saying the

4. Let’s chant:
-Tel the SS that they are going to say the chant
“what’s your name?”.
-Read the chant and check comprehension
- Show the SS how to chant and do the action
- Call 2 groups of four to give a demonstration

- Have the whole class repeat all the chant to
reinforce their pronunciation.
